The Jeremy Lin Foundation is a non-profit that Jeremy Lin had set up before even becoming Linsanity, to help underprivileged individuals and communities in the assistance of finances, spiritual, and also educational. He has said many times in interviews that he will be using the platform of basketball to reach out to those in need. Jeremy Lin is one of the few who was handed out God-given talents to be able to play in the NBA. In the photo below is the soft launch of the Jeremy Lin Foundation in November of 2011. This “Day of Giving” as it is inscribed on their shirts is to provide social outreach to communities in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.

On this day of giving, Jeremy Lin also stopped by three schools to talk to them about how important it is to give. There were also can food and items brought to each individual school’s food drives.

Jeremy Lin has been sticking to his word and helping those less unfortunate.
