For all you single ladies, fortunately this is not his girlfriend. In fact, the person that Jeremy Lin is pictured with here is Huang Yi. She is a Chinese actress and singer from Shanghai and popular in China. Huang Yi also goes by the name of Crystal Huang or Betty Huang.

Jeremy Lin is not married yet. We have information from Alek Blankenau, who played with Jeremy Lin at Harvard and he says that Jeremy is a wholesome guy. Jeremy Lin did have a girlfriend at Harvard and she was a devout Christian just like Jeremy. But they mutually broke it off. Alek Blankenau says that, “Jeremy forgot to make reservations on Valentine’s Day once, and had to save the day with some homemade chicken parm.”

Fortunately, she is not. In an interview in February 2011 when he was still on the Golden State Warriors, an over enthusiastic and sometimes annoying Arden Cho asks Jeremy some questions while she stares at the camera. Jeremy encourages his fans to have fun. “When you play basketball, you don’t want to play for pressure or because so-and-so wants you to do it. You just do it to have fun and that’s the most important thing. Basketball is a game at the end of the game.”

He admits that he still gets nervous sometimes before games. But he changes he focus on having fun, enjoying the experience, and the blessings that God has given him. Jeremy Lin is obviously passionate about basketball and another thing is his devotion to God. He says, “When I’m done playing, I want to be a pastor and do a lot of social work. Hopefully I can use the platform that God’s given me for His glory and be able to do different things for different communities to help kids out and people who didn’t have the same opportunities that other people grew up with.”

Jeremy Lin ends the interview telling his fans: “Don’t be afraid to fail.”

He’s smart, funny, athletic, and handsome. Not to mention the fact that he is a household name in the basketball world. So who wouldn’t like the sensational point guard on the New York Knicks, Jeremy Lin? He’s won over the support of many basketball analysts, sports casters, and even the hearts of many women. Apparently Jeremy Lin’s won over the heart of Kim Kardashian.

Jeremy Lin is a 23-year old Harvard graduate who seemingly came out of no where (he actually struggled trying to get in to the basketball realm through high school and college. Read why he went undrafted). It’s not totally clear yet who he is seeing, but we do know his number one focus now is God and basketball, and probably in that order. Maybe you will be able to win his heart over.

It is now confirmed that Jeremy Lin currently does not have a girlfriend. In an interview with Steve Serby, he is asked flat out if he has a girlfriend. Jeremy replies, “No.” All the single ladies probably let out a sigh of relief when they heard that. There is more good news: Jeremy Lin describes what he wants in his ideal girlfriend. It is no surprise that since Jeremy Lin is a devout Christian that he wants his girlfriend to have the same values. Definitely a girl who is unselfish and thinks of other people — all around a good girl who is low maintenance, has a great personality, and is fun to be around. Take it from Jeremy Lin himself and see what he wants in a girlfriend:

“First she would really love God and be a faithful Christian, and then after that, I think, a desire to serve other people, to help with the underprivileged, do a lot of social work . . . great personality and easy to be around. Someone that’s definitely chill, low key, low maintenance.”
